Dennis J. Wells, DDS, founder of the Nashville Center for Aesthetic Dentistry, is a graduate of Harding University and the University of Tennessee Dental School. He received his accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in 1994, and has since served as an examiner for the AACD accreditation process. He is founding president of the Tennessee Chapter of the AACD, and was an instructor for the “P.A.C.-live” aesthetic continuum in San Francisco. He co-developed DURAthin and MICROthin veneers and hosts seminars to share the specific skills, techniques and benefits of the prepless veneer techniques with other dentists. In 2008, the AACD presented Dr. Wells with the award for Outstanding Scientific Advancement in Cosmetic dentistry for his work with prepless veneers. Dr. Wells lectures internationally on cosmetic dentistry, and practices in Nashville, Tennessee where he has designed the smiles of many celebrities and high profile people in the entertainment industry.
Frances R. Wilmes is a Certified Dental Assistant and also has her EFDA certificate. She is a graduate of MSSU dental assisting program and has over 32 years of experience as a CDA. She holds a certificate in OSHA 360 Training in General Industry Safety and Health and is a member of DANB, ADAA, and OSAP. For the past 4 years she has operated a consulting business, ComplianShield, L.L.C., in regards to OSHA compliance, safety and organization.
